-Late fees of $1 a minute will be charged for children picked up after 6:00 pm
-Weekly fees are due in advance on Friday for the following week’s care
-Additional fees may be due and payable if I must work any irregular or unscheduled times
-Fees cover all basic supplies and food. Parent of children which are not potty
Trained must supply diapers/pull-ups, baby wipes, and any creams, ointments,
or powders that are required. Please bring an extra set of clothes, sunscreen, bug spray, toothbrush and toothpaste and a sealable water bottle for your child/children. If you do not provide the required items there will be an additional charge on your invoice for the daycare to provide those items.
We also have a Kindergarten program that is 8am-12pm Monday-Thursday for $275 per month plus $500 each year for the curriculum.

At Caring Hands Daycare and Preschool serving nutritious meals and snacks is a priority. We follow the Child and Adult Care Food Program meal pattern requirements. We strive to feed the children foods with high nutrient value and serve very little processed foods.
-Fluid Milk Whole Milk from 1 to 2 years of age and 1% after that)

-Food is always served attractively in kid-friendly portions and is not forced upon the child.
-Children are allowed to serve themselves to decide which foods they would like but are not allowed an excessive amount of any food that may give them tummy problems if eaten solely.
-Hands are always washed before and after all meals and snacks.
-Good table manners are taught and reinforced at mealtimes. Young children are encouraged to feed themselves but have assistance when needed.
-Parents are welcome to bring sweets or other food items for their child to share with the other children, on special occasions. The item needs to be given to the provider to be distributed to the children when it is an appropriate time.
-Drinking water is always made accessible and the children are encouraged to drink water during the day.
-There is an example of our menu at the end of the handbook.
-The daily schedule varies by the time of year and age groups of each class. The schedules are posted in each class but if you would like a copy please ask and I will happily provide you with one. The following is a general schedule for the daycare.
Kiddie Care Learning Center is proud to be a part of the state’s voluntary First Class Pre-K Program. Alabama’s state-funded, high-quality and voluntary First Class Pre-K program was named the nation’s highest-quality pre-kindergarten program ten years in a row.
We pride ourselves on not just meeting the standards but exceeding them! Kiddie Care Learning Center is pleased to announce their participation in the Alabama Quality STARS Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS). This system provides ratings to parents to show how childcare centers operate above the state minimum licensing requirements. It is designed to raise the bar of quality child care across Alabama.
This is voluntary program allow centers to receive between one and five stars based on STARS Standards in the areas of Staff Qualifications and Professional Development, Management and Administrative Practices, Learning Environment and Curriculum, and Family Involvement and Community Partnerships. Resources will be available and have been specifically designed to help center staff understand how to meet the STARS Standards.
